Reso – the name comes from French, it’s the phonetic spelling of «réseau», which is more or less equivalent to net or network. And Reso’s network is extensive.

With family in New York and Paris, the artist, who was born in 1975 in Saarbrücken, discovered the world early on in life.

That is how, at the end of the 1980s, he also came to explore the art of style writing. This stylistic direction belongs more to the pictorial forms of traditional graffiti, in which the artist depicts his pseudonym again and again in different ways. The alias «Reso» always remains the same, but through constant rearrangement of the individual letters and diverse shaping and coloring, no two artworks are identical.

Over the decades, Reso has painted over 100 murals, in cities such as New York, Barcelona and Basel to name but a few. So it is no wonder that the artist – despite his young age – is already a kingpin in the regional Urban Art scene in Saarbrücken.
